Bamboo Flooring has become a very popular flooring material in the last few years because it is a very environmentally friendly, sustainable building material. I’ll be the first to tell you how hard a solid bamboo floor really is. I purchased my floor from Bob Wagner’s via Derr flooring and when the installer was putting it in, the staples from his staple gun were bending and required extra precision to get them to sink in correctly.
Every situation is different, but in order to remain in compliance with the manufacturer’s warranty, it is the installer’s responsibility to accurately check the material upon delivery and to measure and document the site conditions and materials before, during and after installation.
Embelton bamboo uses, strandwoven manufacturing technique which gives their floors high density, hardness and stylish appearance and is pre-finished with 10 layers of world leading Klumpp Coatings, with an additional 2 coatings of stained colours, for 12 coats in total, which makes their floors scratch resistant.
You might choose to be creative and different by adding different styles of bamboo flooring to your own kitchen, bathroom, and any other room you choose to. Using bamboo flooring for the first time may be a challenge for some, just remember to take good care of it and do not put in an area with a high volume of traffic.
Because top manufacturers realize it slightly compromises the strength of the material, but at the same time allows for much bigger choice of finishes and stains, the cost ends up balancing out and thus similar to naturally shaded bamboo floor covers.
